Specialty Services - Community Practice

The Community Practice Section at the MU Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital serves many functions for it's patients and clients. As generalists (similar to family practice MDs) our veterinarians see dogs and cats for medical and surgical problems as well for maintenance of wellness, prevention of disease and maximizing quality of life for our patients and their owners. We have special interests in nutrition, dentistry, skin and ear infections, parasite prevention and treatment and behavior problems.

The Dermatology and the Dentistry sections share people and resources with the Community Practice section and all three sections work closely together to give our patients complete, compassionate care. It is our goal to communicate well with our patient's owners.
