Research emphasis:   

Research is currently focused on predicting cardiotoxicity of chemotherapy during treatment, specifically using cardiac troponin I as a marker of cardiac damage. Other research includes mechanism of bone destruction in oral squamous cell carcinoma, other lytic bone disease, and the use of bisphosphonates.

Teaching:   Cancer chemotherapy, lymphoma, osteosarcoma, cytology
