Research emphasis:

Research activities focus on understanding the immunopathologic mechanisms of allergic asthma and developing novel treatments for this disease.

Clinical emphasis:

Clinical interests include lower airway and pulmonary parenchymal diseases, especially asthma and interstitial lung diseases; treatment of collapsing trachea with intralumenal stents in dogs; and syndromes of immune dysregulation (immunodeficiency diseases and autoimmune diseases) in dogs and cats.

Teaching:   Immunology and various internal medicine topics.
