Research emphasis:

The principal focus of my research efforts has been directed toward investigations of equine endocrine function and dysfunction, particularly factors affecting equine thyroid function. I have also collaborated with Dr. Philip Johnson on projects investigating equine pituitary dysfunction and equine peripheral Cushingoid syndrome. In addition, I have been and continue to be involved in studies with Dr. Johnson investigating the pathophysiology of equine laminitis as a secondary area of research interest for me that integrates very well with our research into equine endocrine disease.

Teaching:   Equine Medicine and Surgery; Equine Laminitis; Equine Dermatology; Equine Endocrine Disease; Equine Respiratory Tract Disease; Equine Neonatal Disease, Equine Dental Disease
